Guinness would have every reason to be standoffish with people. She comes from a large outdoor colony, after all, and is still learning the ins and outs of indoor life. And while its true that Guinness would probably thrive in a quieter home, this very sweet, gentle girl astounds us every day with how much she loves humans. Even her meow is ultra-adorable! She is so quiet and will give you the daintiest meow to try and get your attention, says her foster dad. And when she does? Time for pets unlimited and, if Guinness has her way, a birds eye view of her surroundings. Much like her sister, Bailey, she enjoys perching on your shoulder if you pick her up. We haven't really seen her playing too much yet, but she definitely soaks up attention when you give it to her. For a stout dose of love, make room at your table for Guinness.

Whiskers TNR of Warren County aims to improve the quality of life for the county’s stray, dumped and feral cats. We also help responsible pet owners with expenses related to having their cat spayed or neutered. Whiskers provides educational information to increase public awareness of the need to better care for and prevent cats from becoming homeless. We encourage adoption and help strengthen animal rescue services throughout Warren County.

Whiskers TNR of Warren County supports humane education programs for the public and encourages respect and compassion for all animals. We strive to make a difference in the community, one cat at a time.

Whiskers TNR of Warren County is a corporation in the state of Iowa and is ruled by a board of directors. Whiskers is a 501(c)3 non-profit charity. This means that your donation is deductible on your annual income taxes. Whiskers TNR became organized and tax exempt in June of 2016.
