Meet blue-eyed Buddy! He arrived at the shelter on 4/20 after enduring a house fire. Buddy and two other dogs made it out safely and they've been staying at the shelter until the family can reclaim them. They decided, however, that Buddy is too energetic for them so they signed him over. Sweet Buddy is now hoping for a new forever home with an active family who can keep up with him. The volunteers describe Buddy as friendly, playful, and a bit scared right now in the loud, overwhelming shelter. Buddy does know how to sit nicely when asked.
Buddy is 3 years old, and he weighs 50 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines and he has been neutered. He will be microchipped and heartworm tested upon adoption. Please come meet Buddy in run 28; his ID # is 657022.

Cobb County Animal Services was established in 1971. As part of Cobb's Department of Public Safety, we serve the entire county, protecting the residents and animals of Cobb.
The mission of the Cobb County Animal Services Unit is to enforce state laws and county ordinances pertaining to animal control and management; educate the community on responsible pet ownership and wildlife care and provide housing and care for homeless animals, while coordinating their adoptions when possible and humane euthanization when adoptions are not possible.
