Meet Copernicus, the resilient feline with a heart of gold! This 2-year-old cutie was discovered in a rural colony, where he had faced his fair share of challenges. Covered in fleas and missing patches of fur, Copernicus has shown incredible strength and spirit through it all.
Despite his rough start, Copernicus is the epitome of tranquility and serenity. He exudes a calming presence that can soothe even the busiest of minds. His laid-back demeanor makes him the perfect companion for those seeking a peaceful and harmonious home environment.
Copernicus is also FIV+, but don't let that deter you. With proper care and attention, FIV+ cats can live long, happy lives just like any other cat. Plus, Copernicus is proof that his condition doesn't define him. He's a shining example of resilience and joy, ready to brighten up your days with his gentle purrs and affectionate cuddles.
This sweet boy is a social butterfly when it comes to his fellow feline friends. He gets along famously with other calm and gentle cats, making him an ideal addition to multi-cat households. Whether he's sharing sunlit naps or playful moments, Copernicus knows how to foster friendship and camaraderie amongst his furry companions.
When he's not busy making new friends, Copernicus enjoys the simple pleasures of life: pets and naps. He adores being showered with love and attention, and he'll repay you with endless affection and loyalty. And when it's time to recharge, you'll often find him curled up in his favorite cozy spot, dreaming sweet dreams of his forever home.
If you're searching for a soulful companion who embodies resilience, kindness, and love, look no further than Copernicus. With his gentle nature and heartwarming spirit, he's sure to capture your heart and become the cherished member of your family that you've been longing for.

Additional adoption info
During review of the application if you rent your home, we confirm with your landlord that you are allowed to have the cat per your lease.
We also consider if a particular cat is a good fit for your home. Certain cats will do better in homes without small children, or without other cats. Other cats may need to be adopted with a cat that they are bonded with. So we make sure that the cat and the home are a good match before completing an adoption.
Some of our fosters allow trial adoptions, where you would have 2-3 weeks to make sure that the cat being adopted was accepted by the other pets in your home. If you are interested in this, please ask your Adoption Representative.
All cats adopted from Stray Cat Blues have been screened for feline leukemia and FIV, inoculated, sterilized and wormed when they first come to us. Additional vet work is completed for those cats that require additional care. Healthy, adoptable cats and kittens are then housed through our network of foster homes until they are adopted.
You are also welcome to come visit cats at our PetSmart Collegeville and PetSmart North Wales/Montgomeryville locations (see times for adoption showings). If you see a cat there that you like, you can complete an adoption application there in person.
Questions - email us at: contact@straycatblues.org. We are happy to answer general questions, and also put you in touch with the foster families for questions about specific cats.
Adoption Fees:
• $130 - Kittens up to one year of age
• $100 - For cats over one year and up to 7 years of age
• $70 - For cats 7 years of age and over.
All fees are subject to Pennsylvania's 6% sales tax and a minimum of $5 or 5% service fee.
Fees for cats with special needs will be determined based upon circumstances and may result in a fee reduction.
