Herro, it’s Osiris! I’m three months old and here to apply for the position of your heart dog and once-in-a-lifetime BFF. I truly think I have what it takes. I can’t wait to meet you and change both our lives in the best possible way.
I love a good snuggle, and honestly, just being near my humans is pretty darn cool. Whether we’re cuddled up on the couch or I get to lie at your feet while you’re doing your thing, I’m quite content. When I’m sleepy, I’m especially cuddly and curl up next to you wherever you are. I absolutely love belly rubs and frequently roll over in an attempt to get some of those sweet, sweet bellies.
I’ve shown great adaptability with the other dogs in my foster home, both big and small, and was very respectful when first meeting the pack. I enjoy exploring the backyard and have a lot of fun with toys. I’m a balanced pup; I love a good adventure and some playtime, but I also appreciate quiet moments.
I'm a quick learner, and I'm starting leash training. With a little practice, I'm sure to master it. My potty training is going well, and I've already started using the doggie door independently. Crate training is in progress, and while I’ll admit it isn’t my favorite place, I do like the tasty treats I get when I go in. Speaking of food, I love it. Treats, meals, crumbs, I’ll take them all. Training is super fun, especially with treats! I’m a smart boy, and I learn new things very quickly. I mastered “sit” in a couple of minutes.
I hear I'm a handsome boy, and my eyes capture the attention of everyone I meet. I’m down as a lab mix, but my foster also thinks I have the body of a German Shepherd. Regardless, I think I’ll grow up to be a bigger boy as I’m finding myself in a stage where my body is growing bigger than I know how to use it. Everyone seems to find it quite comical.
I’m up to date on vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped. I’m also a parvo survivor! I fought hard to be here and am so grateful for every day. I’m sure you’ll feel my gratitude, and I can’t wait to spend a lifetime of happy days and adventures together. And even when things aren’t so great in your life, I promise to be there for you.
