Dogs temperament- Indy ignores cats, and absolutely loves kids. She wants to stay close to her people.
Indy needs to be fed separately from other dogs. Indy is dog friendly but she does not like other dogs in her crate. That is her space. Indy is a bit dog shy at first but warms up after a week of introduction. She loves to play with other dogs.
We have rotated Indy out with 3 different foster homes to test her temperament.
First foster had other dogs and kids 5 and 7 yrs
old. Indy was excited to play fetch with them and give them kisses.
Second foster had 1 cat and she is elderly. She did not jump. Indy had a fenced in yard, she did not dig or try to jump the fence. Indy was the perfect guest.
Third foster. Me. I have a full house with my elderly mom, sister, and husband living together. We have 3 dogs and 4 cats. Indy IS NOT a barker.
Indy ignores my cats, does not chase. Indy is very good with my 17 year old Pitbull and our hound dog. They are calm dogs and not very energetic. My 5 year old boxer is full of energy and it can be a bit overwhelming for Indy right now. Indy just goes into her kennel for a break from my boxer.
We ask that you give a donation as a rehoming fee.
