Meet Ava!

Ava is a Golden Doodle/Lab mix. She is a beautiful black color with sweet brown eyes and an adorable scruffy face. Her coat is longer and wavier than a typical lab's due to her doodle mix mom. She will be ready to travel to her new new home on May 3rd. Ava is currently 20 Pounds and will be a good sized adult, most likely in the 60# range. She was born on January 8th and is one of 5 pups that we were able to rescue. Ava and her siblings are playful and very happy puppies and are living comfortably in a foster home waiting to be picked as someone's new BFF.

Ava is up to date on puppy vaccines, spayed, on HW prevention and microchipped!

If you are living in a condo or apt and have weight restrictions on pets please be aware that we can not guarantee adult size!

Ava is currently in TN but will be transported north to New England for adoption. The adoption donation is $500 which includes a health certificate and costs for the transport north.

*Please note that while we do our best to accurately state the breed or breed mix of a dog, we often have very limited information to draw from. Identifying the breed without pedigrees and information on heritage can be very challenging!

Massachusett's Residents: Effective September 28, 2017 a Quarantine Fee of $100 will be required (in addition to the adoption fee) to adopt a dog that has been Quarantined. Massachusetts mandates that all dogs entering MA shall be quarantined for 48 hours in a state approved facility.

If you are interested in adopting one of our animals please go to www.angelsamongusanimalrescue.org and fill out a adoption application. All of our animals are up to date on shots including rabies, dewormed, spayed/neutered (if over 5 months old) heartworm tested (if over 5 months old) treated for heartworms if they are heartworm positive, examined by a vet, microchipped and have a fecal. Our adoption fee is $150.00 for TN adoption. New England adoption fee's are higher due to transport fees, etc.

Angels Among Us Animal Rescue - HTCASA is a 501c3 group and was founded in July 2011. We are a group of women and men who love animals and rescue animals from high kill shelters. These animals are surrendered by their families or picked up as stray animals. We rescue dogs and give them the second chance they deserve. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, up to date on shots, dewormed, heartworm tested and treated if they are positive. We work very hard trying to find these babies their "furever" homes that they deserve.
