Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sweetie is a beautiful older kitten with a lot of change in her history. She was brought to the United States from Kuwait last year and adopted by a lovely couple. One of her humans sadly passed away and the other recently had to enter a memory care facility where Sweetie could not go. So Sweetie is looking for her next forever human - hopefully for her lifetime this time around. Read on to see if perhaps she is the one for you.
Sweetie quite simply lives up to her name. She initially shied away from being touched when she first came to her foster home and didn't know us, but very quickly began to seek pets and love once she felt safe. She is a vocal girl who will "talk" with you and tell you all about what she thinks and wants. She likes to lounge in her cat bed and just watch the world around her...other pets, the birds, etc. She will be a wonderful companion pet.
Sweetie grew up around two dogs in her previous home and very much adored their company so she would do very well in a home with dogs. In her recent foster home with other cats, she bristled initially at their presence, which is normal for all cats meeting unfamiliar ones, but quickly settled down and stopped hissing at them. Given a careful enough introduction, we believe she will do well with any resident dogs or cats that you have.
Though we have not observed her interacting with children yet, she has been very sweet and loving and has not been aggressive in any way, so we believe that she will be perfectly fine around respectful children.
Sweetie is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and FIV/FeLV negative. All cats adopted from Pack Leaders must remain indoor-only pets and must never be declawed. Please apply to adopt at packleadersrescue.com.
