Max is 9mos old, weighs 16lbs, is up to date on his vaccines, is neither neutered nor microchipped. He knows the following commands: 'Cage - goes into cage, sit, quiet.' He fears and/or dislikes 'everything; he has anxiety'. Max roams the home when someone is home; he is in his 'cage when gone; living in his cage w/night light; not good in car again he is fearful, needs reassurance or cage'. Max loves being outdoors but is scared of noises and sounds.
Max's guardian explains why she has made the decision to rehome him:
"Behavioral issues/fearful/social anxiety. Unfortunately he gets along with our other dog but he is not a good fit for our home. He requires a lot of attention that we do not have the time to do. We have trained with trainer and purchased calming meds but nothing works. He is not aggressive at all he needs love and patience. We just can't do it with our schedules.".
Max's guardian states the following regarding children: Max hasn't lived with children, but his guardian recommends his living with children, stating "He's been around kids, and he'd be great with them".
Max's guardian states the following regarding dogs: Max lives with a dog, so his guardian recommends his living with dogs, stating "Shy and bashful until he is comfortable".
Max's guardian states the following regarding cats: Max hasn't live with or otherwise been around cats, so his guardian doesn't recommend his living with cats.
