My name is Topher, and I'm a shepherd mix with a coat as rich as mahogany, accented with waves of black. At almost 2.5 years old, I'm a lively bundle of energy, always ready for an adventure. Despite my mischievous streak, I'm up to date on all my vaccines and even have a handy microchip to keep track of me.
My escapades began back in July 2023 when I first caught the attention of animal control. You see, I have a knack for slipping past the shoddy fencing in my backyard and exploring the neighborhood. While I have the best intentions, my roaming habits often land me in trouble. This time, I found myself in a bit of a pickle when I tried to join in on some fun with the neighborhood kids. The authorities were called, and I ended up in the care of animal control for the fourth time.
Despite my penchant for adventure, I'm deeply loved by my family. They've always been there to bail me out of the shelter, but this time, they made a difficult decision for my own well-being. They surrendered me in hopes of finding a new family who can provide me with the care and attention I need. They hope to find someone who will welcome me into their home, provide better barriers to keep me safe, and ensure I'm neutered to prevent any further escapades.
I may have a wild side, but I'm also a fantastic companion. I walk like a dream on a leash, and I absolutely adore going on walks. During my last stint at the shelter, I even got to attend a special event where I charmed everyone I met, especially the kids. If you're looking for a loyal and loving companion who's ready for a new leash on life, please consider bringing me into your family. I promise to be the most paw-some friend you've ever had.
