I adopted this sweet, furry giant 8 years ago--I believe he is 9 years old. He has been 17 pounds the entire time, so I think he's just a large breed. Despite his large size, his timid meow sounds like it belongs to a kitten!
His home has always been full of kids and other cats, so he is fairly tolerant of gentle children, other cats (though he likes to be in charge), small dogs (he is skittish around large dogs), and a generally busy household. He loves to curl up on a lap or shoulder and purr very loudly. He is low energy and not very athletic, so no worries about midnight zoomies or him getting up into places he shouldn't.
He is healthy, up-to-date on all shots, and has been neutered. I am about to move into a home with a person that has an extreme allergy to cats and I unfortunately can't take the cats with me.
