My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello there! My name is Clayton, and I'm a big, lovable three-month-old puppy looking for my forever home. I weigh about 20 pounds right now, and I've got a heart as big as my paws!

What makes me so special? Well, let me tell you a bit about myself. First off, I'm a pretty chill dude. I don't get too worked up about things, and I'm super friendly. Even if you've got other furry friends at home, I'm cool with that. I don't mind sharing my space with other dogs, though I haven't met any cats yet. But with a little patience and some gentle introductions, I'm sure we could get along just fine.

When it comes to people, I'm all about spreading the love! I'm a real people-pup, and I like nothing more than hanging out with my human pals. I'll follow you around everywhere, just soaking up all the attention and love you've got to give. And when it's time to chill out, you'll find me lounging on the living room floor, just enjoying life.

Now, I won't lie-I'm still a puppy, so I've got a bit of that playful puppy energy in me. But don't worry, I'm a quick learner! I'm already getting the hang of this whole potty and crate training thing, especially with a little bit of scheduling. But since I'm going to be a big boy, I think some obedience classes would be just the ticket for helping me reach my full potential. I'm eager to learn and show off all the cool tricks I can do!

Oh, and about those sharp puppy teeth-I'm working on it! Sometimes I get a bit mouthy when I'm playing, especially with hands and ankles. So, it's important to keep an eye on me around younger children until I've learned to be gentler. But with your help and continued training using patience, consistency, and redirection, I know I'll get there.

So if you're looking for a furry friend who's equal parts laid-back and loveable, then look no further than me, Clayton! I can't wait to meet you and become part of your family. Let's make some memories together!

Additional adoption info

Adoption Process
We have an open adoption policy, so there is no application or interview process. We simply ask that you meet the pet in person before adoption. We have adoption specialists that will help you find the right pet for your family.

Adoption Center
The Adoption Center is located at 7500 N. Western Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73116. Our Adoption Center is a totally new concept in Oklahoma City where dogs have comfortable, expanded kennels and cats stay in “living rooms” with furniture and toys.

Pets by Appointment
Some amazing dogs get stressed out in a kennel environment like our Adoption Center, and much prefer staying at their foster home until they find their new family. If you see a dog on our website that says “E-Mail to Meet Me” that means that this furry friend is just a click away from getting a ride to the Adoption Center to meet you in person.

Adoption Fees
Adult dogs are $150 to adopt, puppies are $200 to adopt, adult cats are $75 to adopt and kittens are $95 to adopt. All of our pets are microchipped, spayed or neutered, treated with all age-appropriate vaccinations and flea, tick, and heartworm preventative prior to being cleared for adoption, so we put a lot of effort and monetary investment into each of our animals including a two-week quarantine period in a foster home. These adoption fees help cover the costs of our animals’ health and well-being!
