My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Coop can be quite the oddball. He is not very comfortable with people right away and it does take him extra time to come around. He was very head shy and didn't like leashes. But now, he is excited to see staff members and likes to interact with them. While he's still not 100% comfortable with us, he is improving daily. He is looking for a family who is patient and will give him the time he needs to acclimate to new surroundings and people. He would do best in a home with older kids who can respect boundaries. Breed experience is preferred but not required for adoption. If you have other animals in your home, we recommend bringing them in to do a meet and greet before taking Coop home. If you are interested in meeting Coop, please submit an adoption form on our website: fairfieldcountydogs.com and we will contact you to arrange a time to visit.
