Estimated Breed: Boxer / Rhodesian Ridgeback MIX
Approximate Age: 1 year
Approximate Weight: 60 lbs
Currently Living at: Boarding
Adoption Fee: $400
DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Ducky is a handsome young boy who is looking for some love in his life and he's ready to win you over with his charming ways! Ducky and his brother, Gibbs, spent most of their young lives in an Alabama shelter dreaming of the day when they would finally find their forever family. Now the time has come, and Ducky is ready to start his new life. He is an energetic boy who has a knack for brightening up any room he enters. He adores people and gets along great with other dogs, making him a nice fit for an active adopter. His playful spirit is only matched by his sweet nature, and his love for life and people is a testament to his resilient spirit. Adopting Ducky means gaining a loyal friend who will give you years of love and devotion. So why wait, submit an application today and make Ducky's dreams come true!
Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.
Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
