My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mally is a 58 pound, three-year-old, spayed German Shepherd mix. It took her a couple of months to get comfortable with us. Initially she was very skittish and I think that she was abused in her past. She is sweet, loving and quite smart. It only took about 7 tries to learn ‘gimme 5’ and she’s also learned ‘stay’. She knew ‘sit’. She’s very social with other dogs and loves to play. A few months after we adopted her she was once left alone for a long period of time and she chewed up part of a stuffed chair. She also is not leash trained. I planned to have her go into a training program but realized that we’re not giving her what she really needs. She has lots of energy and needs lots of exercise and we’re unable to give her that due to our work. She needs a person or family who is/are active and perhaps have another dog.
Once she feels safe she’ll give you lots of love. We all fell in love with her and are heart broken that she can’t stay with us.
