I'm easy going, loving and so much fun. Here's why I should come live with you:
I love the outdoors. Playing in a fenced yard or going for leashed walks keeps me happy. Curiosity can get the best of me so keeping me on a leash at all times while outdoors works best. If being an escape artist is a thing, then I'm a straight up Houdini. A dog tag would be a good idea.
I'm still learning to love my crate and I'm slowly understanding that it's my safe space. Treats and a comfy blanket are great motivators to get me in there. I do best when I'm left in there for a few hours at a time, in fact free rein of the house when left all alone does get me anxious. If you're a homebody we are going to get along so well.
Ok let's talk about food. Yum! I'm a good eater. I enjoy breakfast and dinner. I like my kibble with some bone broth and I will love you even more if you top it with some tuna, salmon, or herring.
Goodness that makes things so much more interesting. I do prefer to eat alone when served.
During the day I enjoy sunning myself by a patio door or a big window. I like playing with my toys and resting. I am usually quiet and occasionally will bark if something outside catches my attention. At night I prefer to sleep in the same room as my human, but on my own bed. I'm a quick learner. I don't jump up on furniture or beds unless invited.
All I'm looking for an understanding person, who is willing to give me time to settle into my new surroundings. Someone who can be home with me for part of the day and would love to take me for a daily walk or maybe just in the backyard to sniff and roll around.
Small, but mighty Murphy!
