Family of a loved one whom has passed, is seeking a special home for Pepper.
A 3-year old BlueHealer Lab mix, 35 pounds, fully vaccinated, spayed, heartworm negative, crate and kennel trained, and is great in house with supervision. Does intruder alert barks, but overall friendly once she trusts you. Will do best in low stress home with no kids, cats or pushy dogs. Has had behavior modification and training specific for an Emotional Support dog. She knows and demonstrates basic obedience as well as several interactive tasks behaviors. Does not pass for Service Dog due to minor reactivity. Will need time to bond and adjust. Food motivated. Comes with food and crate, leash and collar. She is currently in boarding at a Trainers home, Yorktown, Tx. Transportation is available to get Pepper to her new home. We are trying to avoid putting her in shelter which could trigger regression in her behavior due to being in a strange and stressful environment, putting her at risk for euthanasia.
