Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Sasha! Sasha is a female, 7-year-old, Siberian Husky mix.
Sasha is participating in our Adopt From Home program with her brother, Greyson.
"Sasha is like a grandma and is the most loving dog. She will lick you forever till you tell her to stop! She loves babies and kids. She still pulls on the leash and could use some work, she is house trained."
Sasha will need an indoor home and a secure containment area to stay safe from wandering and escaping. Positive reinforcement, fear-free training will be needed. Daily exercise and mental enrichment will be very important. If you have other dogs in your home, we would be happy to arrange a meet and greet with your dog(s) to make sure everyone gets along. We do not know how she will do with cats.
Sasha is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, spayed, and ready to go home today.
If you are interested in meeting Sasha, please reach out to Kelsy at (208) 401-5896 Greyson and Sasha are available for adoption separately for $75 each, or together for $100.

More about this shelter
West Valley Humane Society is an open-admission animal shelter in Southern Idaho. Serving all of Canyon County, and surrounding areas. We take in the stray, surrendered, abandoned, neglected animals in our community. In 2017, we took in 7,778 animals. We believe that every animal deserves a second chance.
We contract with the cities of Nampa, Caldwell and Canyon County to house stray and owner surrender animals that their ACO's, or the general public, bring to us.
