Raven explored the neighborhoods and streets of SE Albert Lea on her own, but decided life with a friend would be way more fun! Raven came in as a stray and was born in the spring of 2022. Raven is a loving girl with a great personality. She doesn't mind most of the dogs here at the shelter, but really prefers time with people. She is hoping we can help her find a home and a best friend of her own. It might be you she is looking for - come down and take her for a walk - she would love to meet you!
All pets adopted from the Humane Society of Freeborn County will be spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, testing and will be microchipped. All of this is included in their adoption fee. Fill out an application to adopt at freeborncountyhs.org
When transitioning your new pet home please allow for at least 4-6 weeks for your pet to adjust to their new home. They will need this time to decompress, and adjust to a new routine and environment. During that time we will provide check ins and counseling to ensure a successful transition.
Please review all basic adoption requirements listed on our website before applying. We take finding the right homes for the animals in our care very seriously. They deserve nothing but the best! Please allow 2-7 days for applications to be processed.
If an animal is listed in foster care, these pets are not at our facility, but are in foster care homes. They are still available for adoption, and meet and greets are done with pre-approved applicants only.
