My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My owner passed, neighbors brought me to the shelter. It was just my owner and me. This change to shelter life has me confused. When the dogs start barking loud, I try to find a safe place in my cage. Behind my litter box is where I go, maybe they cannot see me there. Shelter staff reassure me, I relax with the attention.

But my cage is still not home. With familiar people, places to sleep and windows to look out of. I know I have to wait, but am hoping it is not for long. I am 5 years old, a home and person is what I hope for soon.
