Meet Oscar, a big charming Hound dog mix with a heart full of love!

He's sweet, goofy, and incredibly smart. Oscar's intelligence shines through in his ability to quickly learn new commands and tricks. His favorite trick is "high five"!

Like most Hounds, his vocal nature is endearing; he's always ready to 'talk' and express his feelings. But this might mean he won't make a good apartment dog since he has a lot to say. Oscar's sweet and goofy side is a joy to witness.

His antics will surely bring laughter and light into your life. Adopting Oscar means gaining a loyal friend who will fill your days with joy and companionship.

His intelligence and loving nature make him the perfect addition to any home.

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

Most of our animals need a little "extra" to be successful in a home environment - fill out an app to see if you might be a good fit!

2.
Interview

Depending on your app, we may schedule a phone interview to discuss the particular needs of the animal you applied for.

3.
Home Check

Quick home check to make sure that your place is suitable for their new animal.

4.
Approve Application

After you application is approved, we schedule a time for you to meet the animal.

5.
Take the Pet Home

We require that all of our potential adopters do at least a two week adoption trial period before finalizing.

6.
Sign Adoption Contract

After the trial period, if you decide to finalize the adoption we'll send you the paperwork.

7.
Pay Fee

After the contract is signed and their fee is paid, it's official!

Our support does not end at adoption. We continue to offer donation-based post-adoption services to help the new family. <3
