Sheba is a pit mix who we rescued about a year ago from being chained up in someone’s backyard, used to breed, and then as a bait dog. She is around 5yrs old and has so much love to give. She is skiddish at first but once she gets to know you she won’t leave your side. She gets along best with females and children. Her abuser was a male so she has issues warming up to men. A behavioral therapist is always a good option to have if she doesn’t warm up to your male companion. Sheba listens and loves to cuddle. She likes to play fetch but as of right now with her heart-worms she is unable to run or play for long periods of time. She is currently on month 10 of the slow kill method for her heart-worm, this can take up to 18 months to clear. Her right hind leg was injured by the abuser and healed improperly so she doesn’t use it much. She has hip displacia in both hips, since her injured leg doesn’t bother her no amputation is needed. Sheba has a huge heart, lots of kisses, and will love you
