My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Morgan is a 3-year-old beautiful orange tabby. He is sweet, playful and a little shy.
He was adopted as a kitten, but over time the home environment changed and become loud and unpredictable with the addition of other animals that he didn't feel comfortable with. Morgan became timid, hiding and shutting down.
He was surrendered to the shelter in hopes of finding a new life in a peaceful, quiet environment where he could feel safe and thrive.
When you first meet Morgan he watches you from a distance, but with gentle encouragement he is eager to come over for pets and play.
Morgan is ready for adoption to a calm, loving home with someone who will help him build his confidence again.

Additional adoption info

Kingdom Animal Shelter is not a "same day" adoption shelter. To adopt from Kingdom Animal Shelter:
Complete an adoption application and authorization for release of information form and bring them to the Shelter during adoption hours or email them to adoptions@kingdomanimalshelter.com or mail them in to P.O. Box 462, St. Johnsbury, VT 05819. The application and release of information forms are available at http://www.kingdomanimalshelter.com/available-cats.html or you can pick them up from the shelter during adoption hours.
An adoption counselor will review your application, contact 1-2 personal references and contact your veterinarian for a reference. Additionally, if you are a renter, we will contact your landlord for permission to have an animal in the household.
Please allow at least 3 business days for the process to be completed.
After the review is complete, the adoption counselor will contact you, generally by e mail or by phone.
You will be notified if your application is approved or declined.
If the application is approved, you will work with the adoption counselor to work out a mutually agreed upon time and date for you to take your cat home.
