This handsome boy wandered to our house on January 26, 2024, and had no tags. He was taken straight to a vet to have his microchip read, which yielded little info.
He had a chip, but it was not registered (no owner info). It did, however, indicate that his name was Kelvin and that he was adopted from the Animal Humane shelter in Española, New Mexico, in August of 2022, and that he was born in June of 2022. We somehow dropped the "L" and have been calling him Kevin.
We went to great lengths to try to find his home/owners, but no one came forward. We tried integrating him with our group (2 dogs, 2 cats, a 1 yr old human), but we aren't able to get him and the cats to get along.
Kevin is an escape artist, he can jump our 6 ft cinder-block wall; chain-link fences seem to keep him contained. We've been unable to acclimate him to our cats, he seems to have a fairly high "prey drive" towards them.
Breed is unknown, but almost certainly Husky and something else.
