Cody is from a litter of eight puppies born on March 7 in an overcrowded Central Valley Shelter. Rescued along with their affectionate mother (her picture is included) on March 19, the puppies arrived with their eyes still closed. Their mother, Diamond is a sweet 55 lb. girl, aptly named for her precious nature. While the identity of the father remains a mystery, judging by Diamond’s size and the puppies’ weight at 7 weeks, their adult weight is estimated to be around 50-60 lbs.
At their foster home, the puppies spend their nights snuggled together in two large, combined exercise pens. By day, they eagerly explore and play in the large side yard and love when humans come to play and interact with them.
The puppies will be spayed/neutered on May 9 and ready to go to their forever homes.
If you are prepared to take on the rewarding challenge of raising one of these adorable puppies to be your new BFF, please complete our application that can be found on our website: 1luckydogrescue.org or contact their foster mom, Nancy at nancymoore016@gmail.com. If contacting by email, please tell us a little about the home you would offer the puppy.
