Perry was found and brought to a dog pound, he was adopted and then re homed, then was tied to a fence. Through all that he is still very sweet, and we want him to have a forever home with people who wont ever give him up. He gets along with other dogs, and kids.**Please fill out an application found on our website under "adopt a pet" and send it in to start adoption process.**

More about this shelter

Van Wert is a small rural community. The Van Wert County Humane Society has seen hard times in the past but since the Humane Society is under a new board, things have changed for the better and we work hard to care for and adopt the animals at the shelter. We have a small base of volunteers that will come and spend time with the animals at the shelter. We take donations of any sort, and the Humane Society is 501c3.
