From the foster: Puppy 343 (Max) is a bundle of joy seeking his forever home! While he may be a little shy at first, he quickly opens up into a playful and incredibly sweet puppy! He is pretty much potty trained and has only had two accidents inside over the past few weeks. He is also doing so well with his crate training! He rarely cries when going into his crate and sleeps the entire night without an accident. He is full of energy, especially after a good night's sleep, and loves to play with our 6 year old, 70lbs, dog. Max is also very good at independent play with his soft, squeaky toys. We are working on training (sit, come, leash walks, etc) and he is motivated by treats and the crinkle of a treat bag! While he is a playful puppy, once playtime is over, he loves nothing more than to snuggle up on the couch with you and take a much deserved nap by your side. He is the sweetest puppy and will make such a great addition to your family!

More about this rescue

Colorado Puppy Rescue is a 501(c)3 no-kill rescue for young puppies. We accept puppies from kill-shelters in southern CO, NM,TX, OK and KS. Most of our puppies are mixed mutts under 12 weeks old, some are as old as 6 months. We do not have a shelter. All of our puppies stay in foster homes so the only time they are available for adoption is at our adoption events. We average 20 puppies a week and update our website with available puppies Friday afternoons.
