Tammy, a people loving approximately 6 month old 15lb puppy came from a shelter in the 209 after recovering from a dog attack where her ear was torn off and she sustained other injuries. Since being with one of our fosters for just over a week we have found that Tammy loves all people including children. She gets along with other dogs except for resource guarding her people and food. However she is able to be corrected and redirected. Because of the resource guarding we are recommending a home with no other pets or someone who is savvy to dogs that resource guard. Potty training is a work in progress. Tammy is a very happy go lucky girl who loves to be with her person. The ideal home for Tammy will have someone who is around a lot (she cries and barks when left alone initially). For her special person, Tammy will be the BFFurever you didn’t know you needed.
Please no apartments, condos, or mobile home parks. A home check is required.
No out of state adoptions. Adoption fees are non-negotiable.
If you are interested in meeting Tammy click the following link. https://form.jotform.com/221116924195050. Complete and submit our online dog application. Please note, you only need to complete the application once, even if you're interested in multiple dogs that are available. The adoption fee for Tammy is $150.
*Vetting includes: Neuter/spay, microchip, age appropriate vaccinations, deworming, heartworm test, flea preventative, heart worm preventative (including the remainder of their 6-month supply), and any other necessary vet care.
