My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sedona is a two month old mixed breed puppy. Her mom is an Akita, but Sedona and her littermates take after their mystery dad and look like fluffy teddy bears. She will be a large adult dog, already weighing in at well over 20 pounds with giant paws to grow into. Sedona is very eager to please and working on all the normal puppy things: socialization, housetraining, and obedience. As a large breed, it will be especially important for her to continue with training and exposure to our fun world. Sedona is spayed, vaccinated for age, wormed, on heartworm preventative, and microchipped with registration. She is $450 to adopt.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

You may fill out an adoption application at http://lifeisbetterrescue.org/pages/forms.html. Be sure to print it out and bring it with you to an event.

Go meet their pets

We are a foster-based organization. To meet an animal, please stop by one of the many adoption events in and around the Denver area that we attend. To see where we will be next, check out our event calendar at: http://lifeisbetterrescue.org/pages/adoptable.html.

More about this rescue

Our goal is simple. We would like to enter the rescue community to serve as many animals as we are able. To have volunteers with the same motivation, who can independently work to save lives and find homes. To give an infrastructure to self-sufficient rescuers so that they can assist as they are able.

Most importantly, we want to help teach behavior that helps with permanent adoption. To save animals at any stage and prepare them for a life well lived. To impart the message that for them, life is better, and will only get better from here on out.
