My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

💘 Meet Woogie! 💘

We’ve got another pretty girl that broke off the chain life ⛓️‍💥 thanks to Dog Aide! She is searching for her forever home! 🏡 She is a loving, snuggle bug who would love to be your fur-ever dog! 💗 she is 1 years old, 47lbs, spayed, UTD on shots.

Woogie will need a quiet, calm home where she can get a lot of attention and continue to learn to trust her new family. A home with no children may be best, as she is still working through some triggers that on rare occasions activate her fight-or-flight response.

Given her history, it takes Woogie a longer time to trust men and she will need patience and training if she transitions into a home with a man. With that said, once she warms up and trusts you, she will shower you with affection and snuggles. Woogie has now formed her closest bond with her current male foster parent, which gives us so much hope! 🥹❤️

Being an indoor dog is new for Woogie. She has learned that her favorite things to do are cuddle in bed, snuggle on the sofa, and go for very long walks 🦮 She has made progress with her leash and is learning to not pull. She loves playing chase with tennis balls and solving puzzle snack toys. She is still a pup and is learning how to play gently and will need some training. Her current foster parents work from home; she does well being quiet in her dog bed with her toys during Zoom calls and enjoys full access to her human friends throughout the day.

She has only met another dog through a baby gate, however, she seems interested in other dogs while on walks and doesn’t bark at them. She would make a wonderful, loving addition to your home with her endless love to give and soulful eyes! 🥰🐾
