One of the sweetest and most outgoing cats in the shelter, it may be hard to believe that Houdini came in with an injury from being hit by a paintball gun! This sweet boy was covered in purple paint and had a wound on his side from the shot. Houdini has recovered quickly and smoothly, and is ready to leave behind his sad past. He absolutely loves humans, and will stretch his little paws through the crate for attention. Our volunteers and staff have been giving Houdini a lot of time to run around in the playroom, where he gets out his zoomies and loves to play with interactive toys. Houdini is eager for a home where he can play and lounge all day!

We ask all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application which allows us to check certain points of reference (vets, home ownership status, previous pets, etc). If the application looks good, the adopter signs the adoption contract which states, among other things, the animal(s) will have a permanent home with said adopter and if for any reason this becomes impossible, the animal must be returned to Four Legs Good. Four Legs Good reserves the right to place a follow-up phone call or visit, with notice, within the first year of adoption.

Four Legs Good is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to providing the most humane treatment of Rockland County animals in need. We started as a small group of dedicated volunteers who decided to make a difference in the lives of feral, homeless and abandoned animals. We are currently working out of the RG CARES Animal Shelter.
