Come meet Howard and other great adoptable dogs this Sunday (May 5th) from 12-3 pm at the PETSMART in ALEXANDRIA (3351 Richmond Hwy, Alexandria, VA 22305)!

Best Guess for Age: 2 years as of April 2024 SEX: Male
Approximate Weight: 15 lbs
Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen him with kids or cats but he can be tested.
Currently Living at: South Carolina shelter; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get his freedom ride up here
Howard is Looking For: His forever family! This super cute elongated boy ended up in the shelter due to no fault of his own. He's looking forward to his new chapter, eagerly awaiting all the sniffy walks he will get with his new humans - he's awfully good at keeping up on those short stubby legs - romps in the park, and all the adventures they can dream up. He's out of the puppy yips and as a wise, experienced dog, knows what's most important in life: Being safe and loved and under his own roof, and that's right at the top of his wish list.
In exchange, he offers all the adoring gazes and happy tail wags he's stockpiling at the shelter - lots of laughs at his doggy antics - and loyal companionship for all his days. What do you say? Can you see Howard down there by your ankles?
