My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We welcome Kutti (coo-Tee - which means "little one" in Tamil) into our home when he was 8 weeks old, from a breeder in Oregon. He was born on February 14, 2023. I became very sick last year, and have been in intensive treatment for the past 8 months. At this point, our resources are too limited to continue caring for him, as much as it breaks our hearts. Kutti is incredibly sweet, loving, and is pretty much a "velcro-dog," following us around everywhere we go. He does have an anxious predisposition, is typically hypervigilant, and will guard me with certain people. He was socialized with other dogs when he was a puppy, and attended Calm and Focused classes when he was 5 months old. Kutti has seen a vet behaviorist and we have worked with a private trainer to address his anxiety and fear responses. He now takes sertraline to help with this. He thrives with a routine, and will likely do best in a single-person household. He is a mini labradoodle, so at 40 pounds, fully grown.
