Hello, I'm Princess Po! Life has been a bit overwhelming for me lately, and I'm searching for a quiet sanctuary where I can find peace and solace. I may be a bit shut down right now, but deep down, I'm still a sweet and gentle soul. You see, I tend to get overstimulated very quickly, and it can be quite challenging for me to handle too much activity or attention. That's why I'm hoping to find a calm and structured home where I can feel safe and secure. I believe I would thrive in an environment with children over 16 years old, where there's a deep understanding of my need for space and tranquility. A home with lots of hidey spaces would be ideal for me, as I appreciate having my own quiet corner to retreat to when I need a break from the world. I may not be the cuddliest of companions, but I can still offer the presence of another animal in your life. So, if you're someone who understands my unique needs and is willing to provide me with the patience and understanding I require, then I believe we could make a great team. Let's find our peaceful oasis together.

More about this shelter
Kitsap Humane Society is a private, nonprofit animal shelter. We rescue and rehome over 6000 pets each year. Every dog or cat leaves our shelter spayed or neutered and with complete vaccines and a microchip. We have been caring for animals in need since 1908 and envision a time when all adoptable pets have loving homes.
We are extremely proud of our exceptionally high “lives saved” rate of over 96%. Through our active adoption, behavior, foster, transfer, and veterinary programs, we are able to rehome every adoptable animal that enters our facility. No animal is ever euthanized for lack of space.
In addition to caring for and adopting animals, we also provide spay/neuter services to low income residents of Kitsap County, and provide Animal Rescue and Enforcement services to our surrounding municipalities.
