My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, I'm Veronicat. I've had quite the journey, full of twists and turns, but I'm excited for my next chapter. When you meet me, you'll see that I have a beautiful long haired coat. I'm still getting to know the environment here in my new digs, and hope to find my furever home soon. My past may not have been perfect, but I'm ready to embrace the future. I'd love to find a forever home where I can share my love and companionship. I promise to make every day brighter with my playful antics and sweet nature.

More about this shelter

Little Traverse Bay Humane Society is dedicated to providing animals the tender, loving care and attention they need to become adoptable companions.

From our humble beginning in 1951, Little Traverse Bay Humane Society has grown to meet the needs of homeless dogs and cats. Since moving to our state-of-the-art facility at 1300 West Conway in Harbor Springs, Michigan, in 2001, Little Traverse Bay Humane Society has sterilized more than 10,000 animals owned by community members and has placed more than 5,000 animals into loving homes.

In addition to being an adoption center, Little Traverse Bay Humane Society offers a variety of proactive programs to help shelter animals become adoptable companions including the “Pit Stop Program,” the “Ruff-to-Ready Scholarship Program,” “Spay-it-Fourward,” the “Animals Need to Give Everybody Love (ANGEL) Program,” boarding, grooming, daycare, and a full-service veterinary clinic.
