Introducing Phila, a 3-year-old pit mix with a lot of love to give! Despite being heartworm positive, this sweet house hippo hasn't let it dampen her spirits. Our shelter is committed to providing her with the necessary treatment, and Phila would love to complete her journey to full health in a home environment while remaining on limited activity. This rotund gal is such a lovebug and a couch potato at heart! Phila is a pro when it comes to getting along with other dogs, although her heartworm condition means she'll need to take things slow during playtime for now. In her previous home, Phila was used to the spoiled life and even discovered her favorite human food - soup! She would love to get back into a home and out of the stressful shelter. Put in an application to meet her today!
