Diamond is a petite 36lbs of sweetness, politely meeting others in play groups with a welcoming wagging tail. After meeting Potter they started engaging in play, and becoming fast friends. She met kindred spirit Mom Renee with a polite sniff and walk, and welcomed Matthew into the group, everyone mixing in mingling nicely. She really enjoyed attention from a volunteer, content to be loved on and welcoming human touch. Diamond must have had a home, she has a long burn scar on her back, which was probably caused by some kind of flea treatment. Although she’s great with other dogs NO cats for Diamond. She’s a terrific gal who deserves a loving home and the chance at a good life. Her temporary foster said Mama Diamond is a mama no more! She was a pleasure to have in foster care where she had her last litter ever. She loved her maternity suite. She is housebroken, crate trained, loves playing with toys, adores attention, enjoys treats, was thrilled to sleep on the bed, walks good on leash, rode fine in the car, and she was a good Mama. She is proud of her babies and just needed a little extra help towards the end of nursing. She is an absolute sweetheart that deserves her chance at the good life now. We were happy to foster her and the pups to help them along their journey. We hope someone will now take Diamond home. She doesn't deserve to be back at the shelter. She is good with dogs and loves attention of kids. She finds cats too interesting to chase. She is fully vetted. She is 2-3 years young, around 40lbs, and heartworm positive. Please give her the chance at a home that she so deserves. We don't know how she got the scar down her back and it's filling in a little over time. We do know her heart is full of unconditional love for us all.♥️
