Why I need a new home

Relocating

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I adopted Freya from a cattery in NC back in Aug. 2013. Due to an expected move to a smaller space and rental restrictions, Freya needs a new home where she can have her own space.

Freya is a sweet cat, but she's quite shy. Freya needs to feel secure and certain she will not have to share her space or litter box with other animals. She's affectionate on her terms, enjoys petting, but isn't a lap cat. She will do fine with children if they are old enough to understand boundaries and slow relationship building

She has a flea allergy and needs oral flea prevention like Cheristin NOT topical (her skin is sensitive).

Freya doesn't have any health issues aside from mild arthritis in her hips. She needs a ramp or small steps rather than big jumps or climbs.

Freya is a great and will thrive in a home where she can slowly build a bond with her owner. If you're patient and willing to provide her with the love and space she needs, she will grow to be a wonderful companion.
