If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
I adopted Ros-E (Female/2 years) at the Garland Animal Shelter and Adoption Center. At the kennel she was ready to go out and play. Completely happy to be outside and took her home.
The behavioral issues are digging holes and tearing things up. Do not give soft things as she rips apart stuffed toys and bed. Would recommend kennel, raised bed, or dog house. Toy wise I would say any kind of ball, but especially tug of war rope as she loves a challenge. Just anything that she can be teething for hours like durable rubber/nylon. Please be careful in wearing long sleeve as Ros-E will want to play and pull on your sleeves. Lastly on walks, just have a sturdy leash and should be fine, unless she sees a squirrel.
At their new home, I would like for an experienced adopter to take care of Ros-E as she can be a handful, but easier if they know about A PB Terrier. Will be right by your side when needed. Loves to take walks, persistent in playing tug of war, and sit patiently when feeding.
