My name is Pirate!

We got Pirate from a veterinarian's clinic. Her pregnant mother was dropped off in a neighborhood at Christmas. Fortunately the lady who found her was related to the vet and Momma dog was cared for until the litter was born. One of the litter is Pirate. Pirate is a healthy, energetic young dog who is very treat/food motivated. She has a 3 foot vertical jump! She loves to walk on a short leash and sniff everything around. She will fetch until she loses interest, has the zoomies on a regular basis and watches TV with us in the evening on her blanket. She will wait patiently by the door when she needs to go out, and will whine if it is urgent. she loves baby carrots as a treat and gets peanut butter in her chew toy at bedtime. she sleeps in her kennel. Her best friend is my daughter's pit bull and they chase and run almost nonstop when they are together. She does not like thunder. She protects our backyard from birds and rabbits and barks at anyone who passes by on the sidewalk.
