Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Louise!
This beautiful girl arrived at HSoP as a stray, along with another dog we've named Thelma. Neither were claimed by an owner, so now they're on the search for adoptive forever homes!
We estimate Louise to be around 1 year old. She is an absolute delight! Louise loves all people and gets thrilled to make new friends. She seems treat-motivated, but might be a little picky about her encouragement! She will happily take the treats, and promptly spit them out with a smile on her face. As eager to please as she is, Louise would likely do well with continued training in her future home.
Her energy level isn't overwhelming, but it's essential that Louise receives daily exercise. She'll need regular walks or access to an outdoor space to ensure she's staying happy and physically fit.
Since she arrived as a stray, we aren't sure how Louise might do around dogs or cats in her future home. We do require a meet and greet with any other dogs in the home prior to adoption, and offer a seven-day foster period with each adoption to help ensure a good fit.
Louise was recently spayed, is currently up do date on vaccines, and will leave HSoP with a microchip containing her new owner's information. Those interested in Louise should come visit her at HSoP! Our dog kennels are open 1:00-5:00pm Monday through Saturday with no appointments needed.
