Dillon is one lovable little tripod! Yes, he is missing his back right leg, but that doesn't slow him down in the least! At 13lbs, Dillon is oh so easy going, and loves to be held by our staff members. We think Dillon may thrive best in a home without other dogs. The home that adopts Dillon will be gaining such an amazing little sweetheart!

More about this shelter

Our shelter had it's beginnings in the mid 90's and formally became a nonprofit organization in 2001. The dream of Lee and Sophia DiClemente has grown to be the largest no-kill animal shelter in New Mexico. Lee passed in 2010, but Sophia carries on with the support of a small staff, a large number of volunteers, and numerous donors - large and small.
