My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Olive! Olive has the cutest spotted ears and scruffy face! She is a Terrier mix on the small to medium size and weighs 30 lbs. She absolutely loves attention from her human. Sitting next to you on the sofa, being petted and snuggled is her favorite thing to do. Despite loving attention, Olive requires slow introduction to new people and care must be taken around children. Olive has had little socialization outside of her home. She is very playful, loves fetch and tug of war. She also likes to show off tricks like "shake hands" and "high five. She likes playing ball the most and burning off her energy by running around the yard. In addition to requiring a fenced yard, Olive also needs an active owner who will take her on daily walks and weekend hikes. Olive has not had a lot of interaction with other dogs in the past so slow introductions are highly advised. She does not like multiple dogs rushing in. She demands her space and prefers meeting one dog at a time. Olive is a happy go lucky girl looking for her forever Family to give her a loving home and absolutely commit to attending dog training classes with her. She knows sit and crate, rides well in a car, and pulls on the leash. Needs more potty training - she is 75% there. Check out United Animal Friends dog training program. Each one hour class is only $10 and half of the proceeds are donated to United Animal Friends. Register at meetup.com/unitedanimalfriends

Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard.

If you have any questions or to adopt a dog an application must submitted. Filling out this form does not obligate you to adopt, but gives us the information needed to make sure the pet is suited to your home.

HOW TO APPLY: From Petfinder.com The fastest way to get to the adoptable dog page is to copy and then paste this link into your browser: https://unitedanimalfriends.org/adoptable-dogs/

When you are on the UAF website Select "Adoptable Dogs" and pick the dog you are interested in. To apply to adopt, go into the dog's profile, and click the gray "Apply for Adoption" button to get started.
