My name is Groot!

Groot is a very loyal and protective dog. He loves kids but is weary around new adults. He was attacked and bitten by a loose dog that was trying to attack one of his humans. He led the other dog away from his human and came back injured but very triumphantly.

He is approximately six years old. We got Groot when he was estimated to be one from the shelter. He is fixed but not up to date on his shots.

Groot needs to go to a house with a backyard and a family with energy to play. He is currently in a small apartment when we had to downsize.

We love Groot so much, but we just can’t provide the care and space that he deserves.

He loves to play with balls and chew on his stuffed toys. He loves carrots, apples, and all meats. He does NOT like bananas.

We would love to see Groot go to a loving home with young children who love to run in the backyard.
