Amelia is a cute 7-month old female Pit Bull Terrier mix puppy who was brought to the HSOV on April 20, 2024 by a Washington County Ohio Deputy Sheriff who picked her up in Marietta Ohio. This little sweetheart was wandering around the Oak Grove Cemetery (8th Street and Washington Avenue in the vicinity of the American Legion) all by herself :( Amelia was wearing a sparkly pink collar but, unfortunately, there wasn't an id tag on her collar .. And she was not microchipped.

Amelia has a tan-and-cream short smooth coat, a long tail, and a precious puppy face with soft innocent brown eyes, a black button nose, and large semi-erect ears.

Amelia is a happy, playful baby girl with a lovable, affectionate personality. She thoroughly enjoyed her 15-minutes of fame when HSOV Volunteer Emma Dahlgren spent time with her for outdoor photos late in the afternoon on April 22nd. Amelia gives terrific 'puppy kisses' and loved being held in Emma's arms.

Amelia currently weighs 19 lbs.

In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Amelia will be held for three days so that her family will have an opportunity to reclaim her with proof of ownership. Surely someone is missing this little dollbaby.
