I am now ready to find my own home. I'm independent, yet I love a good snuggle when the stars come out, I'm sneaky and will curl up next you when your not expecting it. My day is never complete without a good play session with my favorite ball, but I only like to do this when I think no one is watching.
I'm quite the smarty too, figuring out new games and hiding spots. My gentleness is something that people always notice. I'd rather give you soft purrs while gently laying next to my human at night to protect them from the evils in the dark.

Adoptions applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet..
If an adoption does not work out and we have room to take the dog back into the rescue, we will. However, the sheer number of needy animals in TX usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted.
So, in those cases we will post the animal locally, and help the adopter screen applicants and facilitate finding another adoptive home for the pet in your area.
