My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Celeste and her siblings were dropped on our doorstep, in a cardboard box, as tiny babies. Her brothers were adopted as kittens, but Celeste and her sister (Cleo) struggled to adjust to the busy environment of our rescue, and became nervous around people. They have now been with us for 9 years, and we would love for someone to give these two a chance. Celeste is semi-feral and very fearful. She will come out, when she feels safe and her sister is nearby. She tolerates being petted, briefly, but will need time to feel fully comfortable. Sudden movements and loud noises scare her. She is part of a bonded pair with her sister, and they will need a quiet household with no dogs or children. Celeste is quiet, and shy, but so worthy of a home to call her own.
If you are interested in meeting Cleo and Celeste, please text us at 213-840-0153 for a pre-adoption questionnaire. Once we receive your inquiry, we will do our best to text you back in a timely manner.

More about this rescue

Fur Baby rescue is a non-profit rescue organization here in downtown Los Angeles. We house over 200 animals here at our shelter at given time. We are a no-kill shelter and we understand that some of the animals in our care will have a long road ahead to finding their forever home, they are welcome to stay with us, for as long as it takes.

We have a specialized interest in puppy rescue, pulling an upwards of 50 puppies each month from high kill shelter's in California, rehabilitating and re-homing them. Because we are a non-profit organization we rely solely on our adoption fee's and generous donations of animals lover's like you to continue our efforts to save lives each and everyday.
