This sweet boy is super friendly and playful, loves kids, loves to run around in the yard, loves car rides, loves to play with water! He's gorgeous and is even great on a leash, loves to go for walks. Needs an active family. He's great with other dogs and even cats. A super smart, happy and sweet dog. He will soon be getting his first round of vaccines for parvo, distemper and canine coronavirus. He's ready to meet his forever family, and whoever gets him will be so lucky. Their adoption process

Submit Application

My website is currently under construction so I don't have a link to my application yet, but if you email me I will send it as an attachment

Interview

Interviews will be done via Facetime or Zoom. You will have a chance to also see your potential new family member in action!

Approve Application

Meet the Pet

All members of the family, including other pets in the home, should be present to meet the pet to ensure a happy union for all involved.

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

Includes the clause that should the adopter(s) ever find they're unable to care for the pet, that pet will be returned to TJ Paws Rescue.

6.
Pay Fee

This small fee will simply cover the vaccinations and spay/neuter surgery to allow the pet to be adopted into his/her new home.

7.
Take the Pet Home

If you fall in love with the animal upon meeting him/her, and the adoption fee is paid, you may take your new family member home that day.

Additional adoption info

If the pet you choose to meet has been rescued in Mexico, I will always come up across the border so that you can meet them in the US (and take them home). All my rescues that I list as adoptable are fully vetted, socialized and ready for their forever families.

HI, I'm Wendy and I am the founder of Tijuana Paws n Whiskers Rescue, a 501(c)(3) non-profit rescue. I alone rescue dogs and cats on both sides of the border, focusing on the streets of Tijuana, Mexico where animals are often abandoned, sick, injured and starving. All my rescues are given the medical attention and love that they need to be ready for their forever homes in the United States. I moved from California to Tijuana with a dream of opening a shelter. I hope to make that dream a reality one day! As a small rescue, I am always in need of fosters and donations.
