My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! I'm Flaubert, a sweet DSH grey tabby female with a left ear tip. I enjoy human company very much and bask in receiving full body pets, a little cuddle time, or some lap time. My story begins around 9/15/17 when I was born to a barn cat mama in the Black Forest area, and Wild Blue helped trap us all during a TNR event. The property owner decided to keep me as her indoor kitten because I had a heart murmur, and she loved me. I lived contently with my one person for many years, then my owner's poor health required me to find a new home. Wild Blue took me in to find a new home, and with all the activity at the rescue and surrounded by other kitties, I was a bit intimidated and shy. I was adopted into a home, and loved my humans. However, I had a difficult time adjusting to other cats in the home and I hid in fear. I relied on the security of a friendly human nearby. I liked to play one-on-one with toy wands, rolling toys, and little mice toys. Finally, a decision was made to return to Wild Blue to try a new home again where I could truly be happy. So, I've determined that I need a home with no other cats and a peaceful, steady environment. I dream of a calm home where I can explore at my own pace, where the sounds are soft and the touches are gentle. I would prefer a family who will be patient with me and I can relax and again enjoy fun cuddles and playtime. I am still timid at first so introductions to my new home should follow Wild Blue Cats' instructions so my transition is enjoyable for all of us. If you have room in your home and heart for a gal like me, I promise to fill it with warmth and quiet affection. Please apply online at www.wbcats.org/adopt to meet me.May 7, 2024, 1:01 am
