This little smoosh has one of the cutest faces we've ever seen on a potato. He might be a little timid at first, but he warms up quickly. Spork is a tiny tail wag motor who will gladly swoop in at a moments notice to look you right in the eyes and tell you how much he loves you. You'll soon be telling anyone who asks "he rescued me.
Here's some notes from his foster:
Spork is a sweet, cuddly and super human-friendly dog. He is very affectionate is terms of physical contact (sitting next to you, touching you and snuggle his head on you). He is okay with other dogs but doesn't like it when dogs get too close to him>
Spork is pretty low energy in general. He likes to sleep, lie on his bed and walk around the house to investigate. Sporky however doesn't like going outside and would shake/
shiver, especially if it's windy outside. He doesn't like walking all that much, he would only walk when/where it's quiet and not a lot of people when outside. He doesn't mind being carried in your arms or in a well structured bag though. As for stairs, he generally avoids them.
He is a big water drinker. Sporky LOVES treats, and like with any dog with a bit of pug, he swallows his treat and barely chews. Sporky would take any treat that has a meat smell.
Sporky sleeps quite a lot, typical for a senior dog. He is a light sleeper though. And like any pug, he snores while he sleeps. Sometimes loudly .
Grooming Sporky is a cake. He is patient and calm. I gave him a bath, dried him with a hairdryer and trimmed his nail and didn't seem to mind.

More about this rescue
Muttville is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization dedicated to improving the lives of senior dogs. On a local level, Muttville rescues senior dogs and finds them foster homes or gives them hospice. On a global level, Muttville provides information about caring for older dogs and support for people who do.
Through associations with shelters and other animal organizations, Muttville finds senior dogs that have been given up and are not likely to find adopted homes. Through outreach and networking, Muttville finds suitable foster homes for these dogs. Ultimately, Muttville will have its own facility to house dogs that are not yet placed, or that are unlikely to be placed.
