My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, I'm Buttercup, I somehow ended up abandoned on the streets despite previously having a home. Despite this I love people and other dogs! I'm a very sweet girl who will always be happy to see you wether you are a stranger or a friend. I am expecting a litter however once my puppies are older I will need a home myself! Please consider coming by to meet me, I can't wait to meet you!

I did have puppies on 5/12/2024 I currently need a foster home or a adopter willing to foster my puppies until they are old enough.

Additional adoption info

We do not charge a fee for adoption. All costs of Spay, Neuter, or shots will be at the expense of the adopter. You will sign a form stating you take full responsibility for the animal and it's needs. When funds are available, we have supporters who help with the cost of these needs.

Go meet their pets

You can visit the pound Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm. The Pound and Animal Control Officer are under the direction of the Camden Police Department @ 1 Police Drive in Camden, Arkansas. You may come by the Police Department or call 870-836-5755 to be sure the Animal Control Officer is available to meet with you. The Animal Control Officer will lead you from the station to the pound.

More about this shelter

The Camden City Pound is limited on space, so we strive to get dogs adopted so that we can help more! The dogs that stay at the pound can be strays but also come from abuse cases. We do also take vicious dogs however any dog deemed dangerous will not be adopted out.
